(3 hours of my travel time was sleeping at a rest area)
So in this past week, I've hung out with two Pakistanis so far (also Muslim, but that's no surprise). Both were single and neither hit on me or looked at me at all. It was a refreshing and new experience. I really need to get out of Utah where the majority of people my age are marriage-hungry (and date-hungry too, I guess). I don't know if I could live in Houston, TX, but maybe somewhere like Savannah, GA or somewhere in Northern Florida. It'll be my first time going somewhere having absolutely NO connections. It'll be new and exciting. Maybe I'll move to Atlanta. I hear they've got a good area (but crazy traffic)
Who knows? The biggest thing is that my drive through Texas reminded me of some of the things I love about the south and didn't realize that I'd miss. Example - some teenage guy working in his front yard tipped his hat at someone driving that he recognized. I miss that. Who tips their hat anymore? Who even has a hat to tip? I miss rednecks

You make me smile! :D
I love the south too. Wow! Texas. So why did you end up going there?
One of my really good buddies lives in Houston. I hope I can hang out with him again this year
Once when I was on my mission, I heard and saw a truck go by with country music blaring. I had missed that, haha
Hat tipping. :)
